It is one of the beaches of Plaka Delesi settlement, just 2.3 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a small bay with green water and black sand & pebble cover, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

The Avlida beach is a suitable destination for families seeking a relaxing day by the sea. However, it is disappointing to see that the area is not being utilized to its full potential. It seems that both the public and residents are indifferent towards maintaining and improving the beach. It is a pity that such a beautiful location is not being given the attention it deserves. Perhaps, efforts could be made to enhance the beach and attract more visitors to the area.
