Gollandieres beach is located on the Biscay bay (part of North Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 5th place out of 52 beaches in the Charente-Maritime region 19 km away from its center, the city of La Rochelle. It is one of the beaches of Le Bois-Plage-en-Re settlement, just 1 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and white sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is very crowded place during the season. There is a campsite located nearby.

Gollandieres beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature, toilets. .

The beach is quite spacious and during low tide, it's an ideal spot for shore fishing due to the abundance of rocks. Additionally, the beach boasts white sand, adding to its natural beauty.
