It is one of the beaches of Martinscica settlement, just 1.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

Without a doubt, this beach located in the city area of Rijeka is my top pick! During the summer season, there is a charming bar and even a petite shower facility available for visitors. However, due to its immense popularity, the beach can become quite congested on sunny days, so it is wise to arrive early to secure a spot. During our visit, the beach was exceptionally tidy, which was a pleasant surprise. One of the most noteworthy aspects of this beach is the breathtaking view of Kvarner Bay that can be admired from the elevated position above the shoreline.

The beach is undeniably stunning, but it tends to be more crowded than other nearby beaches. There is some litter present, which is unfortunate but difficult to prevent. I highly suggest bringing swim shoes as flip flops just won't cut it. It's conveniently located near the tower center, so if you forget to pack food, it's only about a 7-minute walk from my hostel. The water is absolutely gorgeous, but be prepared for lots of rocks. 🌊
