The beach offers of pristine, transparent waters that are refreshing to the senses. It is complemented by a charming kiosk that serves a variety of beverages and snacks. However, parking comes at a price, with the same fee charged for the entire day whether you choose to park near the beach or up the hill. It is advisable to note that the beach can get quite crowded at times.
Our preferred spot to bask in the sun and soak up the salty sea breeze lies in Krk. The hues of the ocean are simply breathtaking and mesmerizing. The waters are crystal clear, albeit chilly, and perfect for a refreshing dip. If you fancy exploring, there's a scenic trail leading to the adjacent beach. Parking options are aplenty, with both private and public spaces available. To top it off, there's a beach bar to quench your thirst and hunger. We highly recommend paying a visit to this idyllic beach.
This idyllic beach may be petite in size, but its pristine waters are refreshingly cool and crystal clear. The amiable parking lot proprietor adds to the welcoming atmosphere, with a reasonable daily parking fee of 30kn. Don't forget to pack some provisions for a delightful day spent basking in the sun and soaking up the serene surroundings.
This stunning beach is an ideal destination for a relaxing day filled with sunshine and sea breeze. Although there is only a small shop offering refreshments like ice cream and drinks, the crystal-clear water and opportunity for snorkeling make up for any lack of amenities. If you plan to stay for an extended period, it's recommended to bring your own food. Overall, there are no complaints to be had at this gorgeous beach.
The sandy shore is immaculate and the crystal-clear water is a sight to behold. The stunning view of the rocky hills is breathtaking. Regrettably, due to the sweltering 40*C heat, the water was coated thickly with sunscreen or oil from the numerous beachgoers. However, once you submerge your head underwater, the visibility is exceptional. The cliffs provide excellent opportunities for scaling above the water and leaping if necessary, with jump heights ranging from 1-6m. The left side of the cove has sufficiently deep water for swimming. Bring your own shade in the form of an umbrella or rent a fixed seat for 100HRK, although we cannot confirm as we did not require it. The road leading to the beach is easily accessible, but vehicles above 2.4m height are prohibited, with a height check gauge in place. Unfortunately, the parking ticket machine was a nightmare. It only accepts coins and cards, and even with the card, it sometimes fails to function, despite pressing every button in the exact same way as before. The machine stopped working midway, and at some point, it even refused to accept coins. The hourly rate is 5HRK, and private parking is available below the beach at 10HRK/hour or 30HRK/day. We grew weary of the machine's issues and opted for the daily pass instead.
