Albufereta Beach
6 Kairos Kastrati

The beach was not so great. It was very crowded, making it hard to relax. Be sure to keep a close eye on your belongings, as there are plenty of thieves about.

Playa el Paraiso

This beach in Villajoyosa is undoubtedly the most stunning pebble beach. It's surprising to see that not many people come here despite its incredible beauty. The water is crystal clear and blue, completely free from any algae or litter. You might want to bring some booties, but apart from that, this beach is perfect. Additionally, the Paradis tram station is conveniently located nearby, making it a great escape from the overcrowded beaches of Benidorm and Villajoyosa.

Xeraco Beach
6 Marisol De La Fuente Pérez

Great option if you're looking for a less crowded spot. It's also a great choice for families with young children or older adults, as the water doesn't get too deep - usually not above the knees. However, if you're looking for something a bit more progressive, Olive Beach may be the better option. All in all, this is still a great beach to visit.

Platja Aigua Blanca
8 Luis Ramirez

This blue flag beach is a popular spot for families, mostly Spanish holidaymakers. The white sandy beaches are kilometers long and feel like silk against the skin. On calmer days, the Mediterranean waters are clear and fairly shallow for the first 30 meters, but unfortunately, there isn't much to see underwater. Due to heavy storms in January 2020, the facilities are limited, with no showers or toilets available, and only a few places to grab a cold drink. This makes the beach more suitable for those who are self-sufficient and looking for a basic and tranquil experience.

Platja la devesa
6 Károly Szabó

This spot is far from nice. It's nothing special, just another spot on the coast. The scenery is bland and there's nothing to do. The water is murky and the sand is coarse. All in all, it's just an average beach.

Platja de Pau Pi

This location in Spain is a great spot to visit. The sand is a beautiful golden hue and is well maintained. The water is clean and shallow, making it perfect for kids. Even during peak season, it's easy to find a spot on the beach to relax. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance, and the area is mostly composed of second homes and apartments. It can be quite peaceful during the winter months, but it does get busy during the Spanish summer holidays. Highly recommended!

The warmest month during the year in this area is August, with the air temperature rising up to 26.8°C and the water temperature up to 26.8°C. The coldest month is January, with the air temperature dropping down to 14.4°C and the water temperature down to 15°C.
