Cala Cantalar is located on the Mediterranean Sea and it is in the 65th place out of 147 beaches in the Alicante region 6.1 km away from its center, the city of Alicante. It is one of the beaches of Sant Joan d'Alacant settlement, just 5.5 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a small bay with crystal blue water and gray sand, so it is highly recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, pet owners etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Cala Cantalar coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .
