Playa de Poniente is located on the Mediterranean Sea and it is in the 31th place out of 147 beaches in the Alicante region 35 km away from its center, the city of Alicante. It is one of the beaches of Benidorm settlement, just 2.8 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a long bay with turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Playa de Poniente coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, toilets. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

What an incredible beach! It's the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun. The sand is so soft and the water is so inviting. It's a great place to spend a day, and the view is simply stunning. No wonder why it's such a popular destination.

This beach near Benidorm is anything but nice and clean. It's obvious that the daily cleaning doesn't do much good, as the beach feet showers are broken. Instead of the water flowing from the shower heads, it comes from cracked pipes, and some of the showers don't even work. You'll have to pay 18€ a day for two sunbeds and one umbrella, but it's probably not worth it.
