This location , tucked away between towering cliffs, is a short train ride away from Alicante, and easy to find with Google Maps. The sand is a mix of both sand and stones, so it's best to wear sandals, but it's also comfortable to go without. The beach, unfortunately, was quite small and overrun with seaweed during my visit in May 2022. I'm hopeful that they'll clean it up before the summer season. Additionally, there wasn't much sand to speak of. On the bright side, the water appeared to be clean.
