It is one of the beaches of Mercalicante settlement, just 3.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

The beach may be close to the train station, but it's far from ideal. It's not exactly brimming with tourists, but there are still enough around to make it feel a bit crowded. On top of that, the beach is far from clean, and you're likely to spot a few homeless people too. All in all, it's not the best beach around.
