The perfect spot to get away from it all and chill out. We come here every week as part of our regular stroll, and it's always a pleasure to take in the beauty of this stunning stretch of coast. Alicante is full of great beaches, and this one is definitely up there with the best of them.
That place is far from perfect. The sand is coarse and the water is not crystal clear, so it's not a five-star destination. On the plus side, it's small and has a convenient bar, plus parking is a breeze. All in all, it's an okay spot, but nothing special.
I adore this beach, it's so beautiful, but it now holds a tinge of sadness for me. On August 21, 2020, I lost my wedding ring in the ocean, just off the shoreline. We searched for about an hour but couldn't locate it. I reported it to the authorities so if anyone finds it, they can get it back to me as it has a lot of sentimental meaning to me.
It was really nice - not too crowded which made me feel much more secure. The sand was soft and you could go quite far out into the sea before it got too deep. It also depends on the tide, but you don't need to wear any special footwear as there were no large rocks or boulders.
This family-friendly beach is ideal for swimming, as the water is shallow and calm for a good distance out, meaning kids can easily venture out without the worry of big waves. The sand is quite soft and squishy due to the organics present, but you may get a whiff of sulfur if you dig too deep. Best of all, the beach is easily accessible.
