The beach is truly magnificent. To reach it, you must embark on a hike from either downtown or the parking lot up the hill from town. The hike from the parking area is a leisurely 20-minute descent followed by a 15-minute ascent. The beach is equipped with a bar and a rental facility that appears to be reopening soon. If it does, there will be a considerable influx of people from boats. Snorkeling boats typically make a brief stop here in the mid-morning for roughly an hour.
This beach is undeniably one of the most stunning I've ever seen. I strongly suggest paying it a visit, as it's become our go-to spot. The water is calm and clear with a lovely blue hue, and the sand is incredibly soft and white. The bar nearby serves up delicious food, particularly the mahi tacos which are absolutely delectable. I adore this place and can't recommend it enough.
Oh, what a stunning stretch of sand and sea! The water is so crystal clear, you can see all the way to the bottom. I highly suggest taking the trail from the road, as it's a delightful little jaunt through nature. We were lucky enough to visit during a peaceful week on the island, so the beach wasn't teeming with tourists when we arrived around 11 AM. All in all, a lovely spot to soak up some sun and surf.
This idyllic beach boasts a secluded and intimate setting, fittingly named for the ultimate romantic getaway. At present (as of 2/13/22), the only means of reaching it is by foot. The resort that once provided parking has shut down, and the golf cart shuttles that once transported visitors from the lot to Honeymoon beach are not currently in operation. Additionally, all the bars and businesses located directly on the beach have closed. However, for those seeking a tranquil and serene spot to swim, snorkel, and bask in the sun, the journey to this serene beach is well worth the effort.
The beach is conveniently located near the ferry and boasts stunning views. The water is warm and the sand is white, making it a great place to spend a day. You can rent equipment like snorkels, paddle boards, and kayaks to explore the surrounding area. However, keep in mind that there is a mandatory $10 round-trip shuttle fee.
