Cowpet Bay beach

The pool and beach create the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing vacation. There are plenty of shaded chairs available. The resort provided us with an amazing welcome upon check-in. The food and drinks offered on-site were all delicious. Bill and Jen at Sangria's always took excellent care of us. Whenever we needed extra linens, they were quickly delivered. The Murphy bed in our studio was extremely easy to open and close. Our honeymoon here was absolutely perfect. We chose to come during the last week of September, which was not the busy season, and it turned out to be a great time to visit.

On the first night of our stay, we experienced a power outage that lasted for five hours. Unfortunately, the backup generator failed to function properly. This inconvenience began at 2am and thankfully, the power was restored at 7:30 in the morning. Our room features a spiral staircase leading to the bedroom, while the stairs outside our room could benefit from a slight cleaning. Upon our arrival, we were disappointed to discover a package of cheese slices left on the kitchen counter.

The beach was absolutely stunning. We had an amazing time. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and I slept soundly. The room had a lovely decoration, with plenty of drawer space. The shower worked perfectly, and the air conditioning was very comfortable. The balcony offered a breathtaking view of the ocean. We enjoyed the gentle breezes while sitting out in the morning and before going to bed. John, the bartender at the Beach bar, was a lot of fun and had a great sense of humor. He could easily be a stand-up comedian! We had several meals at Sangria's cafe and their pizza on the night menu was delicious. The breakfasts were also tasty. Unfortunately, my travel companion didn't enjoy the Caribbean Fish Market, so we didn't eat there. The office staff and all the other employees we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely choose to stay here again. Additionally, this resort has a beautiful stretch of beach to enjoy. The only thing that was missing was some music on the beach during the day or evening. The pool is also stunning.

The location and staff were absolutely fantastic! We only stayed at this beach for one night due to missing our cruise ship. We thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant on-site and found our room to be extremely clean. The staff went above and beyond to assist us in reaching our cruise port at Crown Bay and ensured that we were headed to the right place. I will definitely return as they provided us with exceptional care.

The check-in staff could benefit from a refresher course on hospitality, as their welcome was not the greatest and it didn't really make me feel excited to be there. We stayed in a King room and agree with some of the reviews that mention the thin walls, allowing you to hear your neighbor. The room itself was spacious, nothing fancy, but clean with a great view. However, it is quite a hike to get from the top of the hill down to the beach and restaurant. I must say, Moy at the activities desk was awesome with a great personality. He should definitely pass that on to the check-in staff. The restaurant was actually one of my favorites on the island, offering good food and service. In fact, other hotel shuttles were coming in just to eat there. The pool was a nice size and had a bar on the outside. Overall, it was a good experience. I would consider coming back only if I could get a bigger room and a corner unit.
