Negwegon State Park Beach is located on the Huron lake and it is in the 86th place out of 151 beaches in the Michigan region 255.7 km away from its center, the city of Lansing. It is one of the beaches of Black River settlement, just 4.5 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Incredible park! Trails along the forest you could ride mountain bikes, secluded and peaceful. Sandy Beach and nice sand dunes along the lake. Good place to swim or cool off in lake Huron.

We visited on a weekday in early June and had the place to ourselves. We were going to walk the Potawatomi trail but it looked a little overgrown and ticky so we walked along the beautiful beach. The roads in are basically 2 tracks and very sandy. But it was very much worth the drive.

Excellent back county State Park campground. The hike in is great for beginners or individuals looking to try backpacking for the first time. The hike loop is gorgeous! We saw many deer and a skunk! I highly recommend this park for people looking to experience the wilderness of Michigan from the quiet refuge of a tent.

It was a great weekend for a hike through the woods. Beautiful, but a little over 5 miles for the loop got tedious with thick leaves covering the protruding rocks and roots. I stumbled and miss stepped several times.
