AuSable Shoreline Park Beach is located on the Huron lake and it is in the 77th place out of 151 beaches in the Michigan region 210.6 km away from its center, the city of Lansing. It is one of the beaches of Au Sable settlement, just 1.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. The beach park is fantastic, despite the fact that the lake levels have significantly reduced its size. From the overlook deck, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the pond/marsh area, where you can easily spot various species of birds. The shelter is a perfect spot for a picnic, and the shoreline is clear enough for a pleasant one-mile walk. Last year, we witnessed the nesting of piping plovers, and there is an abundance of sandpipers. During our evening walk, we were thrilled to see a bald eagle perched on a tree.
