Compared to other beaches in the area, this beach may not be as visually stunning.
The beach is more of a bay and boat launch, with limited sand and an abundance of shells and rocks in the area we visited. The water is calm, making it a suitable spot for swimming and snorkeling, but be mindful of local line fishers on weekends. While lacking in shade, there are a few picnic tables available. The beach offers great opportunities for capturing stunning sunset photos. Unfortunately, the presence of several homeless individuals may detract from the overall experience, which is not uncommon for beaches that are not adjacent to major resorts.
This beach is a great location for launching a boat, but it lacks shaded areas and opportunities for relaxation. Additionally, the reef is quite a distance from the shore, making it less than ideal for snorkeling.
The beach has unfortunately become a gathering spot for homeless individuals, which has impacted its safety and cleanliness. It's a shame to see how the area has changed from what it used to be.
During our stay at a vacation rental just a block away, my mom and grandma enjoyed collecting seaweed from the nearby beach. Although the beach wasn't the most impressive, it was still a beach nonetheless.
