The beach is absolutely stunning and surprisingly not overly crowded, despite our decision to visit on Labor Day. Apart from the main entrance through the park, there is an alternative entrance accessible by continuing to drive. However, it's worth noting that the side entrance lacks amenities, although it does offer a breathtaking view. During our time there, we were delighted to spot numerous turtles and adorable crabs. The water was shallow, making it ideal for children, but if you're looking to swim, you'll need to venture further out. Additionally, it's important to mention that the beach is quite rocky, so water shoes might be necessary. All in all, it's a fantastic beach! Hopefully, we'll have the opportunity to return when it's less crowded.
The beach is absolutely stunning with lovely trees providing shade. The water was crystal clear during the early morning, making it effortless to spot turtles. It's perfect for little ones with its shallow water and gentle waves. The snorkeling opportunities are breathtaking. Additionally, there's a playground and bathrooms conveniently located nearby. Showers are also available. It's advisable to arrive early due to limited parking.
The beach is secluded and not overly crowded, allowing for a more private experience. The sunset was absolutely beautiful, and we were lucky enough to spot some turtles near the shoreline. These photos are completely unedited, capturing the true breathtaking beauty of the place.
This beach on the North Shore is my absolute favorite. It is situated in Waialua town, which is located between Haleiwa and Mokuleia town. The beach itself stretches out for a long distance and boasts beautiful sandy shores. However, it's important to bring umbrellas because shade is limited. As you enter the water, you may encounter some rocks, but they quickly give way to clear waters. Additionally, the beach park offers amenities such as bathrooms, outdoor showers, and picnic tables. There is even a designated play area for children. Parking is available on the streets, and the neighborhood is peaceful, making us feel safe. During our second visit, we enjoyed a lovely picnic and went snorkeling. If given the opportunity, I would absolutely love to live in Waialua on Oahu.
The beach is stunning, although I didn't manage to take any pictures of the park. There were many children enjoying themselves in the park, and a good number of guys playing basketball on the court. The beach is exceptionally clean and usually quite lively. The ocean has shallow reefs, so be cautious while walking on them as there are numerous sea urchins. If you plan to walk out there, it's definitely recommended to wear water shoes. Surprisingly, there isn't much surfing happening at this beach.
