As a family or a couple, this beach is one of my top picks! Its shallow waters and absence of large waves make it ideal for children. The beach is conveniently located adjacent to the parking lot, eliminating the need to climb hills to reach it. During low tide, there is ample space to stretch out and enjoy the scenery. The snack shack is consistently scrumptious, and the sunsets are breathtaking. This is unquestionably a wonderful location to unwind and soak up the sun.
Skate Beach is a delightful destination that caters to both young and old. Its tranquil waters and charming tide pools make for a picturesque setting. Despite the $30 parking fee, the pristine restrooms, ample parking space, and breathtaking vistas make it a worthwhile investment.
This stunning beach is perfect for visitors of all ages, particularly during low tide when you have approximately three hours to explore the Bay and its eight to ten tide pools. However, be mindful of the incoming tide, which can rise quickly, especially if you have children with you. Parking can be pricey, with rates up to $30 per day unless you have a beach sticker for your vehicle. It's best to arrive before 11am to secure a spot, as the lot can fill up quickly and you may be forced to wait for someone to leave.
This picturesque beach is a must-see and ought to grace a postcard. It embodies the epitome of summer on Cape Cod. The beach is immaculately clean and boasts of breathtaking beauty. The water is invitingly refreshing, and there's an abundance of shells and tide pools to explore. The staff are warm and accommodating, making the beach day experience even more delightful. It's hard to imagine a more perfect day at the beach.
The beach is a stunning sight that offers breathtaking views of the tide pools that form when the timing is just right. Although my attempt to witness the beauty of the tide pools at sunset was unsuccessful, the experience was still one-of-a-kind. I highly recommend adding this destination to your list of must-see places during your stay on the Cape for a few days.
