Exploring the beach was a thrilling adventure as we got to witness alligators in their natural habitat. It was fascinating to observe these creatures in their element and learn more about their behavior. The beach had a unique charm that made the experience even more memorable. Overall, it was an interesting and exciting adventure that left us with a deeper appreciation for nature.
This beach is supposedly amazing, but let's be real, it's just like any other beach. Sure, it's clean, but that's not exactly a rarity these days. The only thing remotely interesting about this place is the history tour of the castle, which is probably just a bunch of old rocks with a guide spewing out facts you could easily find on Wikipedia. And let's not forget the beautiful park, because nothing screams excitement like a stroll through some trees and flowers. Save yourself the trouble and go to a beach with some actual personality.
What a stunning seaside spot! The sand is so exquisite and delicate, unlike the rough grains of Myrtle. And let's talk about the shells - we stumbled upon a whole new collection that we've never seen at Myrtle. As if that wasn't enough, we had the pleasure of observing an alligator in its natural habitat. Talk about a wild experience! But that's not all - we also spotted a Painted Bunting up close and personal. What a gorgeous creature! This beach truly has it all.
This State Park is a wonderful destination for families and adults alike, although there is a small admission fee or the option to purchase a yearly pass. The beach access is top-notch and the public restrooms and changing rooms are impeccably clean - the best in the area. The park is also home to nesting sea turtles, which are carefully marked and protected. A visitor center and store are available, as well as a historical building and numerous walking and biking trails that wind through the forest and lead to a couple of outlooks where alligators and a variety of bird species can be spotted. This park is truly a beautiful place to visit, and is more family-friendly than other beaches in the area. I will be sure to add some pictures during my next visit, as I recently got a new phone and currently do not have any photos of the park.
Pawleys Island boasts a fantastic beach that is a must-visit. The location offers a gift shop, public restrooms, and convenient showers to rinse off the sand before leaving. It's an ideal spot to spend your day soaking up the sun and enjoying the ocean breeze.
