The journey to reach the beach involves a lengthy drive along the island until you reach a small parking area. Unfortunately, there are no restroom facilities or showers available. The parking lot tends to be quite crowded, and street parking is not an option, which means you have to turn around and make your way back if you're looking for alternative public access points.

This beach was a fantastic spot to easily reach the shoreline. ARRIVE EARLY! On our first day, we arrived a bit past 10 and wasted half an hour searching for parking. However, the following day, we arrived at 9 and had numerous parking choices available.

The beach is absolutely incredible and the locals are incredibly friendly! Just be aware that finding parking can be quite challenging. It was a perfect 10/10 experience! When you come here, be mindful of the occasional presence of jellyfish. Also, just to note, dogs are allowed and welcomed!

This place is absolutely amazing! The views in every direction are absolutely stunning, making it a perfect spot to get away from it all. It has a more relaxed atmosphere compared to other beaches, partly because of its smaller parking lot. Some people might argue that the parking lot should be bigger, but that's actually what makes this place so unique. It helps to keep the crowds down, although you do need to arrive early to secure a parking spot. The charm of this location is unmatched, and it offers a quaint and peaceful ambiance, along with friendly locals and the iconic Lowcountry marsh. Without a doubt, one of my favorite destinations in the area. If you decide to visit, please remember to leave no trace and help preserve the specialness of this spot! — Carson

This beach spot is truly one-of-a-kind! Simply take a brief stroll from the parking lot along a path, and you'll be greeted by a vast beach. On the left, there's the ocean, and on the right, you'll find the marsh. You can swim on either side. The walk from the parking lot to the beach is quite smooth and effortless. (It's an excellent spot for catching breathtaking sunrises or sunsets.) We discovered that this place is incredibly serene and rejuvenating. However, depending on the time of day or year, finding parking might be a bit challenging.
