It is one of the beaches of Isle of Palms settlement, just 0.3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. Ah, another beach review. How original. Well, let's see what we have here. Oh, a very nice beach that's dog friendly. How quaint. Apparently, during the winter season, there are specific times for leashed and unleashed dogs. And, surprise surprise, those times change during the summer season. How thrilling. The reviewer visited during the on-leash period and was pleased to find that most people followed the guidelines. How exciting. And if you pay to park in the county park area, you get access to showers, restrooms, and changing areas. How luxurious. Well, I'm sure the reviewer enjoyed it. Who wouldn't enjoy a beach with rules and fees?

What an exquisite beach! Even after the wrath of Hurricane Nicole, the shore remained pristine and spotless. The beach boasts ample parking spaces and a plethora of restaurants and shops to explore before or after your beach excursion. During the winter months, dogs are allowed to roam free without a leash until 10am, and our furry friend had an absolute blast frolicking in the sand and discovering the vast waters.

I relished taking a dip, frolicking in the ocean's swells, and strolling along the sandy shore. The surfers exhibited courtesy towards the bathers. Two locations offer accessible rinse off stations and restrooms. The experience of walking on the beach at sunrise was truly magnificent.

During our trip to the beach in June 2022, my family and I had an incredible time. Although I am not a strong swimmer, my husband and daughter were able to enjoy the water while I felt safe in my husband's capable arms. It was a dream come true to finally visit a beach, and the stunning scenery made it all the more worthwhile. Despite the crowds, everyone was friendly and understanding, especially when children accidentally bumped into them. This beach is perfect for families and we loved jumping in the waves together. It was an absolute blast and I will always cherish these memories. Sadly, my husband passed away a month later in July 2022, making this trip even more special to me. I urge everyone to make the most of their time with loved ones and create unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime.
