I visited the beach during Labor Day weekend, arriving on Friday afternoon/evening. The sand was a beautiful golden color, adding to the overall beauty of the beach.
Even if you're not planning to hit the sandy shores, this beach is still worth a visit. The golden sand adds to its charm.
This beach is truly exceptional! It's a refreshing change from the crowded and hectic beaches like Myrtle, Ocean City, and Virginia Beach. Plus, the golden sand adds to its allure.
I took my ailing husky to the beach for one final escapade. Witnessing the vastness of the ocean for the first time was a breathtaking experience for her. The warmth and kindness of the locals towards her was heartwarming. This place will forever hold a special place in my heart for granting my furry friend such a memorable last hurrah. Not only is it a fantastic spot, but the delectable cuisine and welcoming atmosphere make it a haven for both humans and canines alike.
The shoreline is pristine and immaculate, offering a picturesque view of the vast ocean. If you're in the mood for a caffeine fix, a Starbucks is conveniently located near the pier. The beach provides a plethora of showers for visitors to rinse off the sand and saltwater. Unfortunately, the pier was undergoing construction during my visit. It's advisable to bring cash for parking, which can range from $5 to $10. Be mindful of hiding your food, as the local birds have a tendency to snatch up chips, fries, and sandwiches from unsuspecting guests.
