This beach is absolutely breathtaking. For those who have furry friends, there is a designated area where dogs can roam off-leash, adjacent to the Beach Club. It is important to adhere to the signage indicating where this is permitted. The off-leash area is vast, allowing plenty of space for your dogs to frolic in the sand and waves. It's truly a delightful experience and the scenery is simply stunning.
The Beach Club at Kiawah is a beautiful location, but regrettably, COVID-19 precautions have led to the closure of the Club, restaurant, snack bar, and pool. However, we still enjoyed our time there with our personal sun shelter and beach chairs, and the beach itself was quite secluded. It's important to note that this is a facility exclusively for members.
I must say, it was the most pleasant golf course I've ever experienced. Even though I scored 200, it felt like a great achievement. However, the back 9 along the ocean was quite challenging. Overall, it was an enjoyable course and I would love to have the opportunity to play it again. Don't forget to bring your camera.
This beach is an excellent spot to relax and enjoy the sun for a few hours. Additionally, the sand is gray, which adds to the unique charm of the location.
As a professional photographer, I frequently visit Kiawah Island for family beach sessions. One of my preferred spots is the beach access adjacent to The Beach Club. Since it's located further north on the island than other access points, there are fewer tourists and beachgoers around. This makes it an ideal location for creating enjoyable family memories with stunning views, as we often have the entire beach to ourselves.
