The beach offers a fantastic location, with plenty of food and shopping options in the vicinity. Moreover, the Sun Runner bus stops right at the beach, making it convenient to avoid the hassle of parking on crowded days.
The beach was amazing, we visited in the morning and the waves were very tranquil, almost resembling a luxurious pool. It wasn't overly crowded either. To make ourselves comfortable, we rented an umbrella and two reclining chairs (although there were plenty already set up upon our arrival) for $10 per hour. Additionally, there were three volleyball courts available, but the space on one side of the net was limited.
As a seasoned beach-goer, I have had the pleasure of visiting many shores. However, this particular beach has secured a spot in my heart as one of my top choices. Its serene atmosphere, lack of crowds, and pristine cleanliness make it a true gem. The sand is also a standout feature - soft and beautiful. Taking a stroll along the beach in the morning was an idyllic experience. Needless to say, I am already anticipating my return next year.
While St. Pete may be better known for its Pier and other attractions, its beach is no less stunning than those of Siesta Key and Clearwater. In fact, those seeking a more peaceful and secluded beach experience may find St. Pete to be the perfect destination. My visit on New Year's Eve was made all the more memorable by the spectacular fireworks display, which I am excited to share through some beautiful photographs.
I went to the beach in February 2021 and noticed that people were keeping their distance from each other. The parking fee is $3 for 2 hours, but you can select the duration of your stay. The beach is well-maintained and tidy. The sunset view is breathtaking.
