The availability of huts in Amble allows for shopping throughout the week, making it more than just a destination for the Sunday market. Additionally, there are some delightful options for coffee and hot sausages.
This beach is absolutely fantastic! It is clean, friendly, and offers a lovely walking experience.
There are several small independent businesses in the area, and I especially enjoyed visiting the sausage hut! The beach and harbor at Amble are both dog-friendly and offer seating options. The ambience is pleasant, and it's easy to access. Additionally, there are plenty of things to explore and admire in the surrounding area.
The beach offers a tranquil and laid-back environment, with plenty of things to observe as the fishing boats arrive at the harbor. The harbor connects to the River Coquet, and in the distance, Warkworth Castle is visible. There are numerous small shops and cafes available. It is highly recommended to grab some fresh fish, as it is truly unbeatable.
The beach is a lovely small sandy area that welcomes dogs from October to April. However, from 1 May to 30 September, there are signs indicating that dogs are not permitted on the beach. If you're interested in renting a beach hut, you can do so for £20 per day by contacting the harbor office. Additionally, there is a picnic bench designated for BBQs right in front of the beach huts, along with plenty of other picnic benches nearby.
