Secluded beach spot, small and cozy
I enjoyed sitting on the dunes while having a picnic and admiring the beautiful beach with its golden sand.
During my recent vacation, I had the pleasure of exploring the serene shores of Low Hauxley. Every morning, I strolled along the picturesque beach, taking in the breathtaking sunrise and relishing the peaceful atmosphere. Despite its undeniable beauty, the beach was pleasantly uncrowded, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the stunning surroundings. Without a doubt, this is one of the most remarkable beaches I have ever encountered.
This beach is a fantastic spot for everyone, even those with furry companions. It's a haven for dog walkers, and you can even catch a glimpse of the fascinating petrified prehistoric forest known as Doggerland. 😊
It's difficult to put into words the beauty of this beach, but we'll give it a try. For South Africans, it's a little slice of home. When the tide is low, the beach seems to stretch on forever, with rock pools and a surf break on a gentle offshore breeze. The parking lot is small, but free, and locals are always happy to chat and make you feel welcome. Families bring their dogs for a walk and enjoy the sand and sea. Thanks to the natural dunes, the beach is well-protected from the wind, making for a long, perfect day in the sun. And best of all, the beach is absolutely spotless - a testament to the respect visitors have for this pristine coastline.
