The beach offers an exceptional landscape, with its fine sand and rocky shores. Visitors can enjoy the convenience of showers, toilets, and changing rooms. During our visit in the off-season, all amenities were complimentary, but we noticed a charge of 4TL listed on the doors and walls. Additionally, there were comfortable sun loungers and a few unassuming cafes available. Despite the nearby highway, the noise level was minimal, even with larger trucks passing by. The water was crystal clear, and the seabed was immaculate, making for a smooth entry into the water. We even spotted crabs scurrying along the rocks. If your accommodations are in the vicinity, there’s no need to venture elsewhere; this beach is an idyllic spot for unwinding.
Mersin boasts a stunning beach that I absolutely adore. The water is refreshingly cool, thanks to the chilly water current, while the lower parts are delightfully warm. The gradual depth of the sea makes it an ideal destination for families with little ones. You won't have to worry about finding nourishment as there are plenty of options for food and drink readily available.
The beach experience was a complete disappointment. The exorbitant prices of the sunbeds and umbrella left me feeling ripped off. The cost of 60₺ skyrocketed to 80₺ and then to an outrageous 100₺ in just two days. It was an absolute shock to witness such a blatant display of greed. The beachgoers were left with no choice but to pay the inflated prices, making the whole experience a complete rip-off. It's a shame that the beauty of the beach was overshadowed by the greed of the vendors.
During my trip to Erdemli, I had the opportunity to explore four different beaches, including Topraksu, Limonlu, Kocahasan, and the one I am currently reviewing. Out of all the beaches I visited, this one definitely stood out as the most stunning. The water was crystal clear and the sand was fine, making it a comfortable place to walk and play. Additionally, the beach was shallow, which is perfect for children and non-swimmers. One thing that really impressed me was the lack of litter and disrespectful behavior from other beach-goers. It was clear that the locals take pride in keeping this area clean and welcoming for visitors. Families will feel right at home here, as the beach is very family-friendly. Another unique aspect of this beach is the cold spring water that mixes with the sea. While some may find it uncomfortable, I personally enjoyed the refreshing sensation. There are a few businesses and a cafeteria run by the municipality, which offer reasonable prices for food and drinks. Umbrellas and sunbeds are also available for use, provided by the municipality. I was also pleased to find that the toilets, washing areas, and changing rooms were free of charge. Overall, my experience at this beach was fantastic. It wasn't overcrowded, which made it a peaceful and enjoyable place to relax. One thing that did strike me as odd, however, was the fact that some people were swimming in cotton tights. But hey, to each their own. All in all, I highly recommend this beach to anyone visiting Erdemli.
This beach is a true gem, boasting pristine and immaculate waters. It is managed by the Metropolitan Municipality and offers a range of amenities, including buffet services, sunbeds, showers, and WCs. The cost of two sunbeds and an umbrella is 40₺, as per the 2021 price list. However, visitors can also enjoy the beach free of charge without renting a sunbed. The surrounding area is dotted with private establishments that offer tables and serve delectable pancakes. The beach is relatively peaceful during weekdays, but it may get crowded on weekends. The waters are shallow and the seabed is free of rocks, making it an ideal destination for families with young children who prefer sandy beaches.
