Akkum beach is located on the Mediterranean Sea and it is in the 4th place out of 77 beaches in the Mersin region The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. Nice beach with shallow water pretty far out so it's perfect for the kids. Wish people didn't leave so much trash behind on the beach. Overall a nice place for the family, only gets 4 stars due to people not being clean. Shower, wc and changing room available.
