Patara Beach is located on the Mediterranean Sea and it is in the 20th place out of 182 beaches in the Antalya region 144.1 km away from its center, the city of Antalya. It is one of the beaches of Gelemis settlement, just 3 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.

It is a long lasting coastline with blue water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Patara Beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, toilets. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, sea kayaking.

Fans of active recreation can take part in beach volleyball.

To get to the beach, you need to drive along a dirt road about 2km long. Large parking spot is located directly on the beach.

The vast expanse of sandy beach is truly remarkable, offering a refreshing change from the usual littered and cigarette butt-strewn shorelines. It's a breath of fresh air to find such a pristine and inviting beach. The entry fee of 90 lira per adult is a small price to pay for such a serene and rejuvenating experience.

This beach is truly stunning with its vast expanse of sand stretching out before you. There is ample room for all visitors to enjoy the beauty of the surroundings without feeling crowded. While some may argue that it is unfair to include this beach in the castle ticket price, it is possible that this contributes to the cleanliness of the beach. The beach is quite lovely, with a spacious parking lot conveniently located nearby. There's plenty of space on the sand for everyone to find a comfortable spot. The water is suitable for children to play in, but the wind can be a bit of an issue. During our four-day stay in June, the wind was so fierce that it was nearly impossible to keep an umbrella open.

The picturesque Patara Beach boasts a stunning shoreline, immaculate surroundings, and a gently sloping sea. A small fee of 40 TRY grants access to both the beach and the nearby ancient city. While the beach can be quite breezy and the sea choppy and chilly, these conditions are to be expected given the area's historical significance. The sand is particularly noteworthy, and although the water quickly becomes deep, frolicking in the waves is a delightful experience.
