Head khontee is located on the Gulf of Thailand (part of South China Sea) and it is in the 91th place out of 95 beaches in the Surat Thani region 101.9 km away from its center, the city of Surat Thani. It is one of the beaches of Ban Hat Rin settlement, just 1.2 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Head khontee coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

Getting to the beach was quite difficult, but the view was absolutely stunning. I really enjoyed it!

The secluded beach looked beautiful in photos, but the reality was quite different. Surrounded by jungle and devoid of tourists, I was initially excited to visit. However, the journey to the beach was challenging, with no clear entrance and a difficult path through the jungle. Despite the 20 baht fee charged by locals, there was no clear entry point. Along the way, we encountered unfriendly monkeys who followed us for a while. After an hour of trekking, we finally reached the beach, which was empty but littered with plastic garbage washed ashore. Monkeys roamed the beach, making it necessary to keep belongings close. Swimming was not possible due to rocks, algae, and marine life in the water. We discovered ruins of a former hotel on the beach, now inhabited by monkeys. Unable to return by boat due to rocky shores, we had to make the journey back through the jungle once again.
