Railay Beach is located on the Andaman Sea (part of Indian ocean) and it is in the 9th place out of 75 beaches in the Krabi region 10.2 km away from its center, the city of Krabi. It is one of the beaches of Railay settlement, just 0.2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and white fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Railay Beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets, sea pool. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, snorkeling, sup-surfing, sea kayaking.

The beach is quite lovely, but it tends to get crowded during the day with many tourists. It's best to arrive early or late to avoid the crowds. If you're interested in taking a boat trip from the city, it will cost 200 baht per person. I highly recommend catching the sunset at the beach.

This beach is absolutely stunning and can be accessed by taking a longtail boat from Ao Nang Pier. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. The beach is absolutely stunning! It's easily accessible by a 10-minute long-tail boat ride from Ao Nang beach, and the best part is that it's free for the public to enter. It's a favorite spot for both locals and tourists to relax, swim, enjoy a cold beer, and even get a relaxing massage right on the beach.

This place is absolutely stunning and offers breathtaking scenery. The best part is that it's free to the public! You can easily access it by boat and the west side is perfect for swimming. However, the east side has a very low tide and not much sand. We stayed overnight and had a great time exploring the bars, restaurants, and the overall atmosphere. Just be aware that on a rainy or windy day, it may be difficult to find a boat back to Ao Nang. In that case, you'll need to take a boat to Krabi town and then grab a taxi from there.
