Nice place to take photos near the resort. We came at sunrise and got some nice photos. Red/orange sand feels like you are at a beach on Mars. I dropped a star because lots of people had left their trash on the beach, sad that people can be so trashy.

Visitors can enjoy a beautiful sunrise and stress free morning walks along this golden sand beach. The water is calm during the summer months but becomes a surfer’s paradise in the winter.

Beautiful wild beach with high waves. Nice for a walk with your feet in the sand and watching the tiny little crabs. There is a pretty little beach restaurant with music. There were only a few other people so it's perfect for a chillout day at the beach for those who find the beaches in Buzios too crowded. It's a little out of town, but another big plus is the free parking.
