Brava Beach is located on the South Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 108th place out of 375 beaches in the Rio de Janeiro region 138.5 km away from its center, the city of Rio de Janeiro. It is one of the beaches of Armacao dos Buzios settlement, just 1.8 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Getting to the beach is easy and affordable. You can take a mini van (4 reals), a moto taxi (7 reals), the regular bus (6 reals), or even walk (4-5 reals, but it may take over an hour). Depending on your preference, you can find beaches with strong, medium, or low waves. If you go further to the right, you'll find a smaller beach with fewer people.

This beach in Buzios is undoubtedly one of the best. You can only access it by walking across the reef, making it feel quite secluded. The sand is soft, the water is crystal clear, and there are no beggars or vendors. Plus, it's quite spacious. All in all, it's an excellent beach.

This beach is absolutely stunning! It wasn't too crowded either, which was great. We got an umbrella and two chairs for 30R, and they even bring drinks and food right to your chairs. Beer is around 10R each, so it's a great deal. I highly recommend it!
