Ah, the elusive nudist beach. A true gem hidden away from the prying eyes of the clothed masses. It's a bit of a trek to get there, but isn't that half the fun? A leisurely 20-minute stroll from the road or hotel, followed by a 15-minute hike trail over the hill. But oh, the reward at the end is worth it. The beach is a sight to behold, with its shell-sand and crystal-clear waters. And don't forget the waves, which will carry you back and forth like a gentle embrace from the ocean itself. It's a small slice of paradise, reserved for those brave enough to bare it all.
Contrary to what some other reviews may suggest, instances of people harassing others are not common at this beach. If any conflict were to arise, the locals are quick to intervene and resolve the situation in a peaceful manner. Although the beach is small and stunning, it's mostly composed of crushed seashells instead of sand. The water is crystal clear, but during high tides, it can be challenging to remain stationary. Unfortunately, there are numerous rocks that make it difficult to swim or dive deep. Staying afloat is the safer option. To reach the beach, you must climb up and then down a hill on the far side of Bravinha Beach. It's recommended to pack light as the trek can be challenging. A small bag should suffice. Prices are slightly higher than other beaches, and the only services available are umbrellas and drinks. Overall, it's a pleasant experience, especially if you enjoy nudism. Plus, you may even make some new friends.
This serene and isolated beach is a hidden gem, perfect for those seeking privacy and a nudist-friendly atmosphere. The mix of men and women creates a welcoming and inclusive vibe. However, it’s important to bring your own refreshments as the only beverage option on the beach is exorbitantly priced. A can of beer can cost up to 20 reales, a steep increase from the 3.50 reales you would find at a supermarket. Despite this, the beach’s charm lies in its simplicity and natural beauty, offering a tranquil escape where you can bask in the sun and enjoy the warm weather in the nude.
This stunning and intimate sandy beach is a paradise for nudists, complete with a convenient beach bar that offers refreshing drinks, comfortable chairs, and shady umbrellas. While prices may not be the most affordable, the convenience and ambiance make it well worth it. To reach this hidden gem, take a leisurely stroll past praia Brava and follow the trilha sign for about 20 minutes, winding your way uphill and down through lush vegetation. For the adventurous, climbing the rocks on either side of the beach will reward you with breathtaking views, particularly on the right-hand side. Keep your eyes peeled for turtles, as you never know when you might get lucky and spot one of these magnificent creatures.
