Ferradura Beach is located on the South Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 25th place out of 375 beaches in the Rio de Janeiro region 136.6 km away from its center, the city of Rio de Janeiro. It is one of the beaches of Armacao dos Buzios settlement, just 1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a long bay with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

This beach is a true gem. Although parking may pose a challenge, there are plenty of coffee shops in the area where you can grab a bite to eat or a refreshing drink. The sand is pristine and has a gorgeous golden hue, while the sea water is typically tranquil with minimal waves and a comfortable temperature. The breathtaking view is simply unparalleled. I cannot wait to come back and visit again.
