Playa de la Fontanilla is located on the Alboran Sea and it is in the 4th place out of 135 beaches in the Malaga region 48.9 km away from its center, the city of Malaga. It is one of the beaches of Marbella settlement, just 1.2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a spacious coastline with blue water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Despite the fact that a significant part of the beach is occupied by resorts, there is still a fairly large area with free access. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Amazing place, there is plenty of restaurants around if you are tired after having a long walk on the beach. Been here twice for continuously two years,absolutely love it. Definitely going back soon.

Located in the heart of Marbella, one kilometer long along which stretches the famous promenade. A walk at sunset where it is less crowded is an extra bonus. It's worth spending the last hours of the day here. Have a good look and you will see the Gibraltar Rock in the distance.
