Playa de Nagueles is located on the Alboran Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 103th place out of 135 beaches in the Malaga region 50.9 km away from its center, the city of Malaga. It is one of the beaches of Urbanizacion Los Verdales settlement, just 0.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a spacious bay with crystal blue water and gray sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is quite sharp. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

This place is far from the paradise it's made out to be. October may be sunny, but the heat is still unbearable. The services are nothing special and the access is not great. Not to mention the prices, which are far higher than they should be. If you're looking for a beach holiday, Marbella is not the place to go.

The beach situated along the Golden Mile is usually quite busy on weekends during July and August, but its influx is usually medium to low. It offers a variety of services such as lifeguards, beach bars, umbrellas and hammock rentals, showers, and footbaths, and is easily accessible. Its depth is usually medium, though it can be quite deep during high tides. The beach has a few stones, although there may be more at times due to the waves and other factors. It also has a jetty, perfect for fishing. Water sports enthusiasts will find it to be a normal beach, with a few peaks for surfing, and some interesting diving areas. Sand sports are also available, with larger areas of the beach suitable for volleyball, beach soccer, and other activities, though there are no designated areas. There are some rocks and shallow reefs, so it's an ideal place for kids to explore and spot some little fish. It's not the best for sunbathing, but it's great for relaxation.
