Playa de la Isla de Tarifa is located on the Strait of Gibraltar (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 58th place out of 91 beaches in the Cádiz region 84.7 km away from its center, the city of Cádiz. It is one of the beaches of Tarifa settlement, just 0.9 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a straight coastline with blue water and bright sand, so it is highly recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.
