It is one of the beaches of Algeciras settlement, just 3.9 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. The beach is stunningly roomy and boasts a vast expanse of sand. It is conveniently located near all the necessary amenities. The sea is relatively tranquil, and the beach is well-maintained and spotless. Additionally, parking is inexpensive, costing only 0.6 euros per day on Saturdays and Sundays. One can also enjoy the sight of ships and the Gibraltar on the horizon.

Although it's quite a trek from Gibraltar, walking 7km to this beach is definitely worth it. The sandy shore is absolutely stunning, unlike the rocky and shale beaches that are closer. Plus, you'll get to enjoy breathtaking views of the strait and an unobstructed sunset since the port is not in the way (you'll pass by the docks on your way there).
