It is a spacious bay with crystal blue water and white sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. While it may not be the biggest beach around, it's definitely my favorite. It's protected from the wind and waves, and there's a lovely promenade that runs along it all the way to the Port of Corcubión. The views of the Ría are simply breathtaking.
