Ladeira Beach is located on the Atlantic ocean and it is in the 45th place out of 187 beaches in the Pontevedra region 38.8 km away from its center, the city of Pontevedra. It is one of the beaches of A Ponte settlement, just 0.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a long bay with crystal turquoise water and white sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season. There is a campsite located nearby.

Praia Ladeira sure is beautiful, but it's a real shame that it's so full of green algae every summer in Baiona. The smell is unbearable and breathing it in is certainly not good for your health. It's clear that the city council needs to do more to keep the beach clean. We'll just have to wait and see what happens in 2023.
