This beach near San Francisco is great - it's spacious and easy to get to. We visited with friends in August and while there were people around, it wasn't overcrowded. The sea was incredibly tranquil and the surrounding trees provide plenty of natural shade.

That place in the town of Louro is truly amazing. It's a medium-sized sandbank with easy access, making it a great option for a day trip. There are plenty of shady spots near the sea and lush grass to relax in.

The beach has it all - from beach bars to shady pine forests with convenient parking, all within 100 metres. The sand is fine and white, with small stones, and there's usually not too many people around during the week, with a few more on weekends. It's highly recommended for anyone in the Muros and Louro area.

The beach was great for kids, with its fine sand and gentle waves. The scenery was wonderful and the grove at the entrance provided some much needed shade. We didn't visit during the summer months, so there were no lifeguards, but there was a beach bar on the promenade and a few bars/restaurants nearby. Unfortunately, some of the showers were not working. We'll definitely be back, although it can get quite crowded and stuffy when the tide comes in during the summer.

This spot is truly spectacular, with its enviable surroundings and tranquil atmosphere, except on summer weekends. The water is tropical but cold, and the sand is a pristine white. There's a picnic area behind the beach, and it is complete with a blue flag and all the necessary services, including showers, lifeguards, and bars. It's a fairly large beach, but parking can be difficult due to limited space.
