It is one of the beaches of Roquetas de Mar settlement, just 0.8 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a long bay with green water and gray shell sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is quite sharp. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

This location is one of the tidiest in the vicinity, and the water is crystal clear. Just be mindful of jellyfish! There are plenty of beach playgrounds for the kiddos and exercise machines along the promenade. Additionally, there is a cycling track that leads to either Aguadulce or Roquetas.

Playa de la Romanilla has small stones and can be quite dusty, making it ideal for lying in the sun and playing beach games. It's not the best spot for building sandcastles or digging holes with daughters, but the atmosphere is usually good and the beach is never overly crowded. It's also easy to access, and the promenade is a great spot for an evening stroll.
