Playa los Bajos is located on the Alboran Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 45th place out of 105 beaches in the Almeria region 12.4 km away from its center, the city of Almeria. It is one of the beaches of Barrio Archilla settlement, just 2.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a spacious bay with blue water and light fine pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is quite sharp. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Playa los Bajos coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. This spot is a great for a day out - it's located a short distance away from houses, and is situated within a beautiful natural park. It's known as Los Bajos, as the water is shallow and perfect for a refreshing dip. You can park up your car or RV and be just a few steps away from the beach. It's the perfect place to soak up the sun and relax!

This coastal area features a boulevard and cycling path that runs along the shoreline, and in towns like Aguadulce, it is extended to a pleasant promenade lined with palm trees and cafes. Even on a chilly and blustery winter day, the beach is still delightful. The vendors in Aguadulce appear to be much more agreeable than in other areas - not only do they offer interesting items at very reasonable prices, but they are also more likely to leave you alone until you are ready to ask them something. We highly recommend it.
