It is a spacious bay with green water and gray shell sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is quite sharp. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

That place and marina area is the perfect spot for a day out. There's plenty of places to grab a bite to eat or a refreshing drink - try the Ankara bar by the charity shop or the Gallery. It's a great place to meet with other expats and Europeans, and the Gallery even puts on quiz days! Parking can be tricky during peak times, but you can always pop into the Mercado supermarket for some supplies.

The sand may be soft in some areas, but the majority of the beach is made up of stones.

I'd suggest visiting the beach at 8 pm, when it's still light out and warm. It's usually not too crowded at that time.
