Playa el Rodeito is located on the Alboran Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 59th place out of 135 beaches in the Malaga region 55.4 km away from its center, the city of Malaga. It is one of the beaches of San Pedro de Alcantara settlement, just 2.3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a spacious several bays coastline with crystal blue water and gray sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Playa el Rodeito coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Parking is located directly on the beach.

The three beaches in the vicinity are not ideal for a day at the beach. Parking is especially difficult in the middle of August. While the area may look decent from the outside, the swimming experience is not great due to the abundance of stones. There are only a few spots for swimming, with the rest being reserved for loungers. If you're looking for a good swimming experience, it's best to go somewhere else.

This spot has been in my life for many years, but this year it's a no-go. In the past, I used to bring my children here and they had a blast. But this year, the weather has taken a toll and there are a lot of stones on the beach. Plus, the device for the elderly and disabled has been removed. I wouldn't recommend it this year.

Perfect beach for the whole family! The shallow side is perfect for the kiddos, while the deeper side is great for adults and stronger swimmers. The water can be a bit chilly at times, but that just adds to the experience!
