This beach near Estepona is not a great choice for relaxation. It is one of the least attractive beaches in the region, with grimy sand and a rundown, budget-style resort atmosphere. It is definitely not worth the effort.
The ocean was full of seaweed and there were some bits of debris floating around. The waves were great, though!
Alright, but nothing to write home about. The public toilets are clean, but the open-air showers and wash stations are just okay. You can rent beach chairs and umbrellas if you want, but the prices are a bit steep. The playgrounds are alright for the kids, but nothing special. The craft fairs on weekends are a nice touch, but nothing to get too excited about. We visited in June and it wasn't too busy, but it's nothing to rave about.
That place has been a favorite of mine for years. It's always spotless, although the scenery changes a bit from year to year. The boardwalk is terrific, both during the day and at night. It could do with a few repairs, and the promenade could use some minor improvements. It's wide and sandy, and it's a great spot to hang out, even after dark. It's a safe, friendly place to spend the summer.
A wonderful place to visit! It is immaculately clean and healthy, with gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Kids can play safely and there are plenty of restaurants and Chiringuitos right on the sand. It is a truly enjoyable experience.
