Playa Cruz del Mar is located on the Gulf of Cadiz (part of North Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 55th place out of 91 beaches in the Cádiz region 26.9 km away from its center, the city of Cadiz. It is one of the beaches of Chipiona settlement, just 1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a spacious coastline with green water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season. Please note that the area nearby is possible for wild camping.

Playa Cruz del Mar coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

When the tide is low, the fish pens make the beach practically unswimmable; however, it does have a wide expanse of sand.

I was recently at the beach and noticed a large German Shepherd running around without a leash. It was a concerning sight as these larger breeds can be incredibly hazardous to small children playing in the area. It's important to keep a watchful eye on your pet and keep them on a leash for the safety of everyone around.
