Montijo beach is located on the Gulf of Cadiz (part of North Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 90th place out of 91 beaches in the Cádiz region 27.6 km away from its center, the city of Cadiz. It is one of the beaches of Chipiona settlement, just 3.5 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a spacious coastline with green water and brown sand & rocks cover, so it is highly recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

We went to this charming beach bar multiple times during our stay in the area. The coffee was great, and we absolutely loved trying out various seafood tapas. The beach location was absolutely stunning, and the sunset views were breathtaking. We definitely plan on coming back before we leave.
