This beach near Matalascanas was the best I've ever seen in Europe! It had it all - public toilets, tons of beach bars, public showers, a bus station nearby (it's super easy to get here from Sevilla), soft golden sand, and both deep and shallow areas for whatever floats your boat.
A paradise for those who love the softness of sand and the beauty of seashells. It's a stunning spot to explore and enjoy the ocean breeze. truly a sight to behold, and it's a must-visit for anyone who appreciates nature's gifts.
This place is a dream come true in October! It's almost empty, which makes it even more desirable. The sunsets are breathtaking - truly a sight to behold! Absolutely stunning!
Playa de Matalascanas is nestled right next to Doñana National Park and alongside Playa del Coto. It is a well-developed area, with access facilities, a walkway and a few old relics, such as La Torre de la Higuera, a 16th century lighthouse. Unfortunately, it is in ruins due to the devastating effects of the 1755 Lisbon earthquake tsunami.
That place is not the best place to relax. The sand is alright but the area is quite crowded and the restaurants nearby have limited options. The food is okay, but nothing special, ranging from fish and chips to paella. Drinks are available, but nothing special. All in all, it's not worth the visit.
