Anse St. Jose Beach is located on the Indian ocean and it is in the 24th place out of 111 beaches in the Seychelles region 47.7 km away from its center, the city of Victoria. It is one of the most beautiful beaches of Anse Boudin settlement, just 2.1 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

This beach is a great addition to Curieuse island, with its crystal clear turquoise waters perfect for swimming. It's quite busy in the mornings, but still a wonderful spot.

This beach is quite small and cozy. Our boat guide brought us here so we could go for a swim. Many boat tours that take people to see the tortoises also drop off their passengers here.

Visiting Curieuse Island is a great day trip from Praslin. If you book it with one of the locals on the beach, you can get a much better price than with a travel agency. You can start by seeing the big and small turtles, then take a 1.7km walk through the mangrove, where you can spot turtles, birds, crabs, and other small animals. The view of Anse St Jose is stunning.

The water was teeming with fish, easily visible without any special equipment. We even brought some bread to attract even more! We were lucky enough to spot a starfish near the shore, making it a great spot for snorkeling. Plus, the view was simply stunning.
